They may come in small packages but they cost more than half a million pesos! And, they're for a month's supply only.
I've been taking them since December. This is my 4th treatment protocol, excluding the surgeries and radiation I underwent. Imagining their costs and adding those of the diagnostics, maintenace medication, and hospitalization, I'm left dumbfounded. I would've been long dead if it weren't for my family, friends, and even strangers! When I was diagnosed at 24, I had a great profession but I was barely earning. I wasn't close to being financially independent, and even if I were, I don't think I could afford the treatment. Hence, I'm deeply grateful to everyone helping me.
Cancer treatment is undeniably expensive. If you are able, please consider helping cancer warriors, thrivers, and survivors. At different periods of treatment and recovery, we encounter various limitations. Heck, we're considered as PWDs. We need to get creative and work hard in looking for funds to cover our medical expenses.
If it takes a village to raise a child, well it takes a city, or a whole nation, or maybe the entire world, to lengthen the survivorship of a cancer patient. You can do that for me by giving to my fundraisers.
