Hi, I am Lenie Rose.
I am from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.
In April of 2018, I was working as an Operating Room nurse when I incidentally found a mass in my mediastinum. I had an open chest surgery and was diagnosed with Invasive Cortical Thymoma. My disease progressed and treatment - chemotherapy and radiation therapy - was considered palliative. One of my doctors even said that I only had 6 months left!
I believe that God allowed this crisis to bring me into a deep, deep faith. I may not understand His ways but I know Him. I know that He is good!
I decided to share my testimony of God's goodness! So, I began writing about my physical and spiritual journey.
In March of 2019, we found out that I was misdiagnosed. I was told that I have Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Lymphoma.
In August of 2019, after surviving severe pneumonia, I was told that I have refractory cancer. Two treatment protocols failed. My cancer spread.
In December of 2019, I started a new treatment protocol and it finally brought me in remission in April of 2020.
In May of 2020, I had an allogeneic stem cell transplant.
I have been transformed in perspectives, priorities, and pursuits. And, I hope that the Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified in my life!
