#stayhomeforcancer urges everyone to help keep the most vulnerable in our communities safe
Today, I had my 6th Keytruda infusion.
Though I was a little scared to be in the hospital, I was grateful that I was able to have my scheduled treatment.
Cancer patients belong to the high risk group of this pandemic, and we are caught in between avoiding this virus and continuing our life-saving treatments.
I empathize with my fellow fighters whose chemotherapies, radiations, or surgeries are postponed and delayed.
I empathize with our healthcare workers and pray that they wouldn’t have to choose who gets treated and who don’t.
May we illuminate empathy in this time of crisis and protect each other.
